To say that the back walls of the Benson Auto Parts shop were an eyesore would be a major understatement. Years of accumulated layers of terrible graffiti peppered with offensive garbage covered the walls that face onto one of the loveliest walking paths in Peterborough, Ontario, along the Trans-Canada trail.
I recently approached the manager about putting out a call for some very talented graffiti writers to come and decorate his building. He happily obliged given the aforementioned eyesore.
This past weekend, some of my favourite writers came to town, some from as far as Chatham and Montreal, to beautify Benson.
Huge thanks to LOOTER, NOMIS, KNOWR, JAKER, DREG, PANIC, SENOR and JEACS, as well as Benson Auto Parts.

The reaction from the community has been 100% positive, to the point that people are going inside and thanking the staff.

Hey Jerm
I follow your urban explorations and enjoy the stories you put with them. I was walking downtown the other day and saw a sign of yours pasted up. What else were checking out around here in Kingston?
